We are looking for a new FE Sports Lecturer for our award-winning HITZ programme. Employed by SCL Education, the successful candidate will deliver lessons at the home of Bath Rugby.

Responsible for ensuring delivery of an educational, employability and enrichment programme, developing loyalty from Premiership Rugby clubs by delivering excellence in everything. As part of this role the FE Sports Lecturer will be involved in working with learners on a group or on a one-to-one basis, delivering all aspects of the education.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

  • Experience in delivering an employability, level 1 or level 2 academic
  • Experience working with NEET learners, or young people with various challenging behaviours
  • Desire to help young people achieve a more positive pathway through education and personal development
  • A recognised secondary or post 16 teaching qualification, e.g. PGCE, DTTLS OT A1 Award
  • First Aid

  • An interest in rugby (or sports in general)
