A long-serving member of the Bath Rugby Foundation team who is also an international rugby player.

Sport has been an integral part of Caryl's life and she's seen and experienced first-hand the positive impact it can make through her dual career in sports development and playing rugby internationally for Wales.

Caryl's role as Programme Development Manager builds partnerships with experts to ensure Bath Rugby Foundation delivers the best support programme for the young people to gain success.

"I'm so passionate about the work we do, the relationships and impact we make and excited by where we are heading," she said. "The work within the community is focused on skill and mindset development, armouring young people with the skills to make the most of opportunities and gain success. The work is life changing and I love seeing that moment where you visibly see a change and the young person steps outside their comfort zone and is willing to try.’

In her 'spare' time Caryl also plays rugby in the Allianz Premier 15s for Worcester Warriors and gained over 50 international caps for Wales. Caryl has competed in three Rugby World Cups and working towards her 4th in New Zealand kicking off in September 2021
