The Bath Rugby Walk will return in March, raising money for Dorothy House and Bath Rugby Foundation.

Previously the Bath Men’s Walk, the 7th annual event saw women take part for the first time with more than 550 people lining up to take on the eight-mile walk.

In 2020 the walk takes place on Saturday, March 7 and will once again follow the canal path route between the two charities, starting at Dorothy House’s Winsley base at 1pm and ending at the home of Bath Rugby in Bath city centre.

Once at the Rec walkers will be able to enjoy a well-earned drink and a pie while watching Six Nations action together:

  • England V Wales - 4:45pm KO

Bath Rugby Walk is open to everyone. Men and women aged 12 years and over are invited to take part and help raise vital funds for the Bath Rugby Foundation and Dorothy House Hospice Care. All money raised will be divided 50/50 between the two charities.

If your team is between 12-20 people and you’d enjoy a private space to watch the Six Nations you can even reserve a box at Bath Rec and make it a really special occasion.

Entry is £25 for men and women aged 18 and over. For children aged 12-17 and students the cost is £17.50.

All entrants will be expected to raise at least £50 in sponsorship or make a donation in lieu of sponsorship on top of their entry fee (£25 for students/12-17). Walkers who would like to include a donation in lieu of sponsorship can do so here.

Walkers can download a sponsorship form here.
