A cold night for a good cause

I'm shocked by just how many young people in Bath are in a position where they don't have a safe and secure place to sleep - spending the night out in the cold is the least we can do

Being a part of the Bath Rugby Foundation team I've met plenty of youngsters and I simply never knew how many are affected by this. Living a sheltered life, I just never realised how big this issue is. It's depressing, unsetting and unacceptable.

Fortunately, there is help out there from places like the Amber Foundation and then our team are able to work with these youngsters, providing them with the life and employment skills that mean they can turn their lives around.

While The Rec Sleep Out will be cold and uncomfortable, it is one night. I'm very aware that others are not so lucky.
