Do you know someone not in education, employment or training (NEET)? Why not point them in the direction of our five week Advantage course.

Learners will take on tasks to improve life skills, work on self confidence and develop resilience with an end challenge of climbing Pen Y Fan mountain; an opportunity for learners to be a part of something amazing over the summer holidays.

Bath Rugby Foundation's Student Journey Lead, Jonno Wood, explained a bit more about Advantage:

"Advantage is a programme for under 25-years-olds who have left school but for any reason are not currently in Employment, Education or Training. They might be anxious about work, fed up with “the system” or just unsure about what to do.

"Advantage is a great opportunity to engage with people who care and understand. The programme covers all the basics for getting into work while being personalised enough for people to get a real feel for what they want to do.

"This is not school or College and there will be lots of doing, making friends and improving our real-world skills along the way."

Liam, our Alternative Learning Coach, who attended Advantage as a student in 2022, explains the course from his point of view and why it is so beneficial to our learners:

"During the learners time at advantage they will take on task such as CV to gain better life skills, as well as taking part in a challenge at the end of climbing Pen Y Fan mountain. This is a opportunity for learners to come be apart of something amazing over the summer."

🏉Course start date: 16th July
