We are proud to share that last night’s Annual Fundraising Dinner raised over £50,000 to support vulnerable children and young people across our community.

The evening brought together supporters, partners, and friends of the Foundation for a powerful night centred on the theme of belonging. Guests heard from Johann van Graan, Head of Rugby at Bath Rugby, who delivered an inspiring talk on building a culture rooted in connection, purpose, and shared values.

His message strongly reflected the work of Bath Rugby Foundation, where creating a sense of belonging is central to everything we do.

Every day, we work to create environments where young people feel they belong - whether that’s in the classroom, through sport, or within their wider community. It’s through that sense of belonging that confidence grows, barriers begin to fall, and futures start to take shape.

We currently support over 5,500 young people each year, delivering programmes focused on education, employability, inclusion, and mental wellbeing. However, the need continues to grow.

In a city where over 10,000 young people live below the poverty line, events like this - and the continued support of our community - are vital. They enable us to meet young people where they are, offering support through education, 1-1 mentoring and sport. Through this, we provide a pathway that builds confidence, develops life skills, and creates real opportunities for the future, from the ages of 5, all the way to 25 for young people with SEND.

The funds raised on the night will directly support this work, helping us reach more young people who need it most and ensuring that no young person is left behind.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended, donated, and supported the evening. Your generosity is making a lasting difference and helping us continue to change young lives.
