Dear Runners,

You may or may not have heard the news about the postponement of the Running High, Bath Half Marathon, which was due to take place on March 13^th, 2022, and is now taking place on Sunday May 29^th, 2022. We were as disappointed as you were to receive this news but we are committed to supporting you to have the best possible experience in the lead up to the event and on the day itself. 

The Bath Half is a much-loved event that raises vital funds for charities across the city, we are confident that the May event will be bigger and better than ever before.  

We know you have been training and fundraising and this must be a blow to you. Our team have been working behind the scenes to ensure we can deliver an exceptional race day experience.  

While this situation is totally out of our control, our sense of responsibility to you, our incredible runners, remains the same, and for this reason we are focusing on the positives that we can draw from this situation: 

·         Longer training time for those who are new to running or looking to beat a PB 

·         More fundraising opportunities to support of Bath Rugby Foundation 

·         The opportunity for injury recovery

·         More runner events to help you get the best out of yourself

We are keen to support you throughout your Bath Half Marathon journey and would like to thank you once again, from the bottom of our hearts, for running in support of Bath Rugby Foundation and the vital work it does with disadvantaged children and young people in our community. The difference you make by continuing to train and fundraise is literally life changing for the young people that we work with. Proudly wearing your Blue, Black & White vest on training runs helps to build awareness of our work. 

We are looking forward to finally welcoming you on May 29^th, 2022 and in the meantime, working with you to make every step of the journey to race day as fun and rewarding as possible.
