Chippenham Cavaliers represented Bath Rugby Foundation at The Stoop and Twickenham Stadium!

One of our Mixed Ability Rugby teams, Chippenham Cavaliers, had an unforgettable experience playing at Harlequins’ The Stoop and then at Twickenham Stadium during half-time of the Premiership Rugby Final between Bath Rugby and Northampton Saints.

This is what rugby is all about: inclusivity and fun! We had the pleasure of accompanying Chippenham Cavaliers, one of our Mixed Ability teams, for a day packed with rugby. They showcased their skills at The Stoop and then at Twickenham Stadium, spreading smiles and joy and showcasing what Mixed Ability Rugby is all about - inclusivity.

A big thank you to @gallagherrugby and @premrugby for the incredible opportunity to play alongside other fantastic teams. The excitement and happiness on everyone’s faces were truly priceless. Special thanks to Shannon Gallagher, Thomas and Amelia for proudly wearing the @chippenham__cavaliersrfc tops and joining the team!

Huw Solly, Cavaliers Team Manager, said: “It was an absolute honour to represent both Chippenham RFC and Bath Rugby Foundation on Saturday and I’m super proud of the Cavaliers team for the way they played, included everyone and brought lots of smiles, laughter and joy to the day!

“Playing at both the Stoop and at Twickenham for all our players was a huge personal milestone and a unique experience to be treasured. I would like to extend my thanks to Bath Rugby Foundation for making it all happen. Especially to Jack and Alex for helping us establish the team 6 months ago.

“Finally thank you to our sponsors and supporters, Wiltshire Council, Chippenham Town Council, Chippenham Borough Lands, WASP, Hi I’m Ralph and Greenacre Group for your sponsorship and support.”
