We're excited – after two long years - to welcome our incredible army of Bath Rugby Foundation runners, and fundraisers, to the Bath Half Marathon, taking place on Sunday October, 16th, 2022. Where else can you run in such incredible surroundings and support local young people at the same time? The scenic 13.1-mile (21.1km) BATHALF flat route - will take you on a 2-lap course through the streets of beautiful Bath, and straddles both sides of the River Avon. Bath Rugby Foundation is a charity that helps young people who need all kinds of emotional, practical, and physical support - but don't get it. We put our hearts and souls into helping any challenged young person stop feeling judged, crushed or underestimated and start feeling self-assured, hopeful and happy. We re-ignite confidence and self-worth in young people and give them the life skills and opportunities to not only survive but to thrive in the world. Every year we change the lives of thousands of young people by being active in their communities, schools or at our home at the Rec. We ask runners to commit to raising £250 in sponsorship or donations to fund our vital work. Your fundraising will help to make a huge difference to the lives of vulnerable children and young people in our community. 2022 Venue and Route Changes Revealed - Bath Half Marathon We will be hosting our runners in the Elim Church. They will be able to store bags securely, get changed, use the loos (which are plentiful), have pre and post run massages, get drinks and snacks. They will have use of the showers in the Hub, which although on the other side of town will be available.
