Mixed Ability Rugby is not a disability sport, players are not classified by physical, intellectual or mental disabilities or barriers. It is a sport open to anyone who wants to play regular full-contact rugby. If you happen to have some form of disability or barrier, but want to play rugby on a regular basis then Mixed Ability is perfect for you. 

What is the Mixed Ability Rugby Cup?

The Mixed Ability Rugby Cup brings together Bath Rugby Foundation's six Mixed Ability Rugby clubs: Walcot Warriors, Bath Ladies Trojans, Yeovil Mixed Ability, Melksham Stags, Chippenham Cavaliers and The Cranes for an inclusive tournament of rugby.

Bath Rugby Foundation celebrated our annual Mixed Ability Rugby Cup at @melkshamrfc on Saturday, 20th April.

The event drew 16 teams from across the UK, all ready to compete in a safe and inclusive environment. Mixed Ability Rugby is truly inclusive, welcoming individuals with a wide range of barriers to participation, including physical and learning disabilities, as well as those without any barriers.

The community encourages everyone to showcase their social and physical skills, proudly represent their clubs, and create lasting memories with like-minded individuals.
