Our Mission Our stories Olivia Anstey Meet Olivia Anstey, an 11-year-old young carer, who was initially anxious to attend BreakOut but is now thriving; meeting friends and participating in sports and creative activities. Olivia, an 11-year-old with additional needs and a young carer at home, attended Bath Rugby Foundation’s BreakOut Hub at Castle Primary School during Easter 2024. Initially, Olivia found it hard to connect with new people, but she returned with enthusiasm and confidence this Easter, thriving in the inclusive environment. She eagerly participated in daily activities, enjoying football and rugby, and learning new skills. The supportive atmosphere provided Olivia with a much-needed escape from her busy home life. Her mother, who struggled to find suitable HAF provisions before, was thrilled to see Olivia happy and asking to return. Olivia’s positive experience at BreakOut has not only boosted her confidence but also provided her with a safe space to grow and enjoy being a child. Both Olivia and her mother are extremely grateful for the opportunity, and Olivia is excited to join future sessions. Manage Cookie Preferences
