Bath Rugby Foundation will head abroad once again in 2019 for the charity’s next cycling challenge.

Ride Mallorca will take place in October with around 100 cyclists expected to head to the Balearic island.

In recent years our fundraising cyclists have pedalled through Normandy and Tuscany, with well over £100,000 raised for Bath Rugby Foundation.

Ride Mallorca takes place from Wednesday 9th to Sunday 13th October 2019 and will be based at the five-star Zafiro Palace hotel in Alcudia, Mallorca.

"Spectacular routes"

Bath Rugby President, David Trick, has organised and will lead Ride Mallorca. He said: “Ride Mallorca is shaping up to be our best yet.

“Mallorca is known to be incredibly popular among cyclists with spectacular routes that are suitable for all abilities.

“We know that everyone who has enjoyed one of our rides in the past will love Ride Mallorca. And anyone who is interested in joining us for the first time will enjoy a wonderful few days.

“As ever we believe we have put together a trip that cyclists of every level of ability will enjoy, with different paced rides in the day and an amazing social scene in the evening.”

Bath Rugby Foundation has organised cycling challenges for years, with fundraisers making their way across Ireland and from John O’Groats to Land’s End before the Foundation decided to take the event onto the Continent.

Following on from the success of trips to France and Italy, Bath Rugby Foundation hopes to make Ride Mallorca the biggest and best trip the charity has organised.

Where does the money go?
