Following the successful volunteering event at the Bath Music Festival last weekend we now have two more fantastic opportunities for volunteers to help run our Passing Target (inflatable rugby game).

Bath Rugby Foundation relies on fundraising to help us reach as many disadvantaged young people as possible. Volunteering is one way that many Bathonians choose to support our charity.

We have a number of regular volunteering opportunities here and we also have the chance to raise both money and awareness at events in the city. Two new opportunities have just come up:

Bath Boules - Friday 14th – Sunday 16th June

This is obviously a free event to the public so outside of your allocated time slot you would obviously be able to enjoy the fantastic atmosphere of the annual event.

Pub in the Park : Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd June

We are looking for 6 volunteers to work in pairs on a rota for each of the time slots below.  Outside of the time slot allocated, you will be provided with a FREE ticket (ticket prices range from £32 - £47) to enjoy all the music, entertainment, food and drinks during one of the times detailed below:

  • Friday 18.00 – 22.30
  • Saturday 11.30 – 16.30
  • Saturday 18.00 – 22.30
  • Sunday 13.00 – 19.00

What will I need to do?

You will be required to man the Passing Target stand for allocated time slots, talking to the public, supervising adults and children having a go on the target (with managed breaks etc)

You will be collecting money and showcasing the work that Bath Rugby Foundation do

A Bath Rugby Foundation t-shirt will provided for the day

Please email Katie asap if you are interested in volunteering at either / both of these events stating any preferences regarding days and times.  All dates / slots will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Both should be amazing events and great for the Foundation in terms of both fundraising and awareness.
