What is the programme?

Hi5! Golf is a FREE activity for children and young people aged 7+ with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES). Hi5! Golf is our weekly session with help from our Golf Professional Chris Coles at Saltford Golf Club, who provides expert advice to our participants to help learn and develop new individual skills on the driving range and golf course. These sessions are a great opportunity to be involved in a calm and enjoyable environment, whilst having social opportunities within the sessions with other participants, parents and coaches.

Project Outcomes

Hi5! Golf provides opportunities to children and young people with disabilities, the chance to be in a calm and enjoyable environment to learn and new sport and skill at their own pace and ability. Hi5! Golf also provides the social opportunities for participants to meet others and make friends, whilst trying new things and learning life and social skills from being out in the community.

Hi5! Golf is a partnership between Bath Rugby Foundation, Bath Area Play Project, Saltford Golf Club and B&NES Council.
